Delete your account

Use the in-app control when you can. If you are locked out, email us and a person will verify the account and handle the same request.

IN THE APP

You → Account → Delete Account

  1. Open GoLo and choose You.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Choose Delete Account and review the confirmation.
  4. Confirm the request. GoLo clears active systems within 30 days.

EXPORT FIRST

Take your rounds with you

  1. Email info@golo.golf before deleting.
  2. Ask for a portable copy of your account data.
  3. We will prepare your rounds, scores, and settlement history, then send instructions to the verified address.

Use the prefilled email and include what you remember. We verify the account before acting; this website does not sign you in or simulate a deletion.

EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENS

What goes, what stays, and why.

Deleted or disconnected

  • Profile details, contact information, handicap, home club, and golf-association identifiers
  • Profile photo and saved payment handle
  • Push-notification devices and account memberships
  • Solo rounds that no other player participated in

Retained or de-identified

  • Shared round history needed by the other participants, with your identity replaced or removed
  • De-identified scoring, game-result, and settlement records tied to those shared rounds
  • Information required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance
  • Residual encrypted or access-restricted backups for up to 90 days

Active systems

Deletion is completed within 30 days unless law, fraud prevention, or a live dispute requires longer.

Backups

Residual copies may remain for up to 90 days and are not restored to active use except for disaster recovery, security, or legal purposes.

Shared rounds

Other players keep an accurate round history, but your account identifiers, contact details, photo, and payment handle are removed.
